Alan Patrick Wainright

Nahunta- Alan Patrick Wainright, 49 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (September 19, 2021) at Advent Health in Sebring, FL., following a brief illness.
Born in Brunswick, GA., his parents are James “Jim” O. Wainright, Jr. and the late Judy Highsmith Wainright. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jason Edwin Wainright.
Alan worked for Phillips and Jordan as a heavy equipment operator. He was a sportsman shooter, enjoyed cooking, and loved his family. He also worked many years in Law Enforcement in the Criminal investigation Division and was Department Instructor.
Survivors include his son, Colton James Wainright, of Brunswick; his father, James “Jim” O. Wainright, Jr., of Nahunta; and his girlfriend, Michele Togno, of Sebring, FL. Also several other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday (September 23, 2021) from 5PM-7PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
Graveside Services will be held Friday (September 24, 2021) at 11AM at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery with Rev. Jake Baum officiating.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
