William Washington Head

South Carolina-William Washington Head, 64 of North Augusta, South Carolina passed away Friday (September 6, 2013) following an extended illness. Born in Brunswick, GA, his parents were Samuel Washington and Wilma Lovie Walker Head. He was also preceded in death by two sons, William Lee Head and Samuel Thomas Head. William served in the United States Army. He was of the Baptist Faith. William worked many years as a carpenter, and he enjoyed working on cars, electronics, and fishing. Survivors include his 3 children, Sheila and Darrell Daniels, Wanda and Craig Speh II, and Connie and Tony Sanchez; 9 grandchildren, Robert Daniels, Kaleigh Daniels, Dalton Johnson, Ali Speh, Olivia Speh, Cheyenne Speh, Craig Michael Speh, Ashleigh Wood, and Lillee Wood; 1 great grandchild, Carson Strickland; 3 brothers, Morris Edwin Harrell, James Franklin Harrell, and John Emory Head. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A Visitation will be held Thursday evening (September 12, 2013) from 6-8 PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Memorial Service will be held Friday afternoon (September 13, 2013) at 3 PM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Lairsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Horsestamp Cemetery. Memorialization will be by cremation. Food may be brought to the Marshes of Glynn Baptist Church in Brunswick, where they will be feeding the family following the service.
