Melissa Yvonne Martinez Williams

Tampa – Melissa Yvonne Martinez Williams, 32, of Tampa, FL passed away Friday afternoon (August 5, 2016) at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL after a brief illness.

Born in Los Angeles, CA her parents are Victor Martinez of Puerto Rico and Melissa Williams Arroyo of Hortense. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Irma Tardi.

Melissa was a medical assistant with a heart of gold, who loved being with her family and helping people. She always had a smile on her face and was very high spirited who gave everything her all.

Survivors include her mother and her significant other, Melissa Arroyo and Marty Shuman, of Hortense; her father, Victor Martinez of Puerto Rico; step father, Joey Arroyo of Puerto Rico; step mother, Aixa Cintron of Puerto Rico; 3 brothers, Joshua Arroyo of Texas, Victor Martinez, Jr. of Mississippi, and Kevin Martinez Puerto Rico; 2 sisters, Michelle Quiles of Brunswick and Zully Martinez of Puerto Rico; her very special loving niece, Arianna of Brunswick; her maternal grandfather, Reed Williams of California; 3 uncles, Eric Williams of New York, Edwin Williams and Reed Williams both of California; and also several other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held Saturday (August 13, 2016) from 3PM-6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
