Letitia Ellen Blanton

Nahunta-Letitia “Tish” Ellen Dickerson Blanton, 55 of Nahunta, passed away late Saturday evening (October 22, 2016) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronnie Bowden and Margaret Dickerson Stokes. She was also preceded in death by one son, Keith Atkins; one brother, Patrick Flanders; and one sister, Rhonda Annette Flanders.

Tish was of the Christian faith and enjoyed reading, writing, and coloring. She worked many years as a waitress.

Survivors include one son and his companion, Jessie Blanton (Melissa Scott), of Hortense; one daughter, Felicia Phillips, of Nahunta; 7 grandchildren, Katlyn Phillips and her fiancé, (Ivy Haight), of Fl, Patrick Phillips, Christian Phillips, Haylee Blanton, Paisley Strickland, Ellie Phillips and Chevie Rowell; also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
