Yulee, FL-Janice Douberly Williams born on December 20,1954 in Charlton County Georgia. Passed away on Friday September 30, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Florida after a short battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude Benjamin Douberly and Mary Crews Douberly and a sister Mary Louise Moore. Janice married the love of her life, Wayne Williams , at the age of 16. They were married for 41 years and enjoyed camping on the rivers for many years. She was a devoted and caring wife, mom, nanny, and friend. She enjoyed teaching at the schools and being very involved with the kids. She enjoyed having her kids in swimming and beauty pageants for many years. She loved to go to Georgia and spend time at her sisters for the holidays. She loved to spend as much time as she could with her grandkids. Spoiling them was her favorite thing to do. She leaves behind her husband, Wayne Williams of Yulee, Florida. 2 daughters, Alisha Williams Moore (Chris) of Fernandina Beach, Stephanie Williams of Grand Rapids, Michigan, 8 grandkids, Jordan Williams, C.J. Moore, Hannah Rose, Kori Babb, Nate Babb, Ashton Moore, Alexis Moore and Ethan Moore. Brother, James Buddy Douberly. 2 sisters Claudine Harris (Cecil), Ruth Strickland (Billy) all of Nahunta, Georgia. and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday evening starting at 6 PM - until at the Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta, GA.. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 4,2011) at 2 P.M. from the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Allen and Rev. Chuck Allen officiating. Burial will be in The Bethlehem Cemetery in Brantley County. Pallbearers are Jim Harris, Ricky Raleigh, Ben Spivey, Pat Thomley, Mark Lombard and Shelton Williams.
