Carolyn Ann Turner Roberson

Hoboken-Carolyn Ann "Turner" Roberson, 65, of Hoboken died Saturday evening (Jan. 19,2013)at her residence following an extended illness. Born in Alma, Ga. Her parents were the late Eddie and Alamae Davis Turner. She is also preceded in death by her husband Sammy Roberson, 3 Brothers, Charles, Larry, and Kenny Turner and a Sister-in-Law, Vickie Turner, She was retired from Kings Shrimp Company as a line worker. Carolyn loved birds and working in the yards and was a member of The Waynesville Baptist Church. Survivors include a Son, "Jay" Jesse James Roberson of Waynesville, GA., a Brother, Larry Turner of Jacksonville, FL., her Step Sister, Pauline Anderson, of Waycross, GA. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Monday afternoon (January 21, 2013) from 2-3 PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Funeral services will follow Monday afternoon (Jan. 21,2013) at 3 PM at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Hickox officiating. Burial will follow in Highsmith Cemetery, Waynesville. Pallbearers will be Johnny Roberson, Julian Corbitt, Sammy Gene Dowling, Frank Jr. Roberson, Ricky Morgan, and AJ Roberson. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
