Hickox - Annie Mae DePratter Wainright, 82, of Hickox died Friday evening (May 15, 2015) at her residence after an extended illness. Born in Lulaton, GA her parents were Albert and Nancy Harris DePratter. She is also preceded in death by her husband Banner Jesse Wainright; a granddaughter, Wendy Wainright; and also several brothers and sisters. Annie was a homemaker and a member of Hickox Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandkids, cooking, baking and embroidering. Survivors include her 3 sons and daughters-in-laws, Gary & Susan Wainright of Hickox, Terry & Paula Wainright of Hickox, and Paul Wainright -Paul Vincennie- of Orlando, FL; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Pattie Wainright-Hosti (Wayne) of Savannah and Joy & Doug Rudd of Springlake, NC; 9 grandchildren, Jason Wainright(Kerry), Jeffery Wainright, Haili Wainright, Heather Grace (Dusty), Sarah Wainright, Jordan Wainright, Jesse Wainright (Roxanne), Jonathan Rudd, and Ashlyn Hosti; 8 great grandchildren, Austin Wainright, Gavin Wainright, Reagan DePratter, Jaylon Raulerson, Anna Raulerson, Alley Grace, Kelsie Bishop, and Banner Wainright; a sister, Marilee Meeks of Waycross; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday evening (May 17, 2015) starting at 6pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Monday morning (May 18, 2015) at 11am at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Johns, Keith Martino, Jimmy Arrington, Timmy Davis, Scott Studstill and Shawn Sweat. Pallbearers are asked to be at the church Monday by 10:30am.
